Hello, Jenny, this is Linda. I know you weren’t at school today, so I want to tell you about the school news. You remember our class went on a school trip to a farm last week and learnt about farm animals. Tomorrow our class is going to go on a school trip to the zoo.

We are doing projects about different animals. Penguins, giraffes, monkeys. You and me must do a project about tigers. I’m going to take some photos and talk to a zookeeper about tigers. I’ll send you some photos and the text with some interesting facts about tigers which I’ll write.

My name is Leo. My brother and I really love sports, especially football. We want to have a big dog to play with, but our mum is allergic to animal hair. Our relatives, the Clarks, who live in a village near our town, have got a big dog called Rex, a small goat called Daisy and three chickens.

Rex is a big brown dog with a friendly face. Daisy is a white goat. Last weekend, Daisy had a funny adventure. She ran away from her garden. The Clarks were looking for her for two hours. They found Daisy in the neighbour’s vegetable garden. She was eating carrots and tomatoes. The neighbour, Mr. White, was not angry. He likes animals. But the Clarks wanted to bring Daisy home. The problem was that Daisy didn’t want to leave the tasty vegetables. Mr. Clark called my dad because my dad has a van. They put Daisy in the van and drove her back home. Daisy was happy and full.

Now Daisy is in her garden again. She is okay but she sometimes looks at the fence. Every Saturday I visit the Clarks and play with Rex. Sometimes Daisy tries to eat my shoelaces when I run with the ball.

Every morning the cat comes to say hello and licks my cheek, and in the evenings it often lies at the door because it wants to guard the house. I give food to my pets every afternoon. The kitten C some milk and looks very happy. In summer we live in the countryside. There is a forest near our house and we often go there for a walk with the dog. Our dog is very fond of D walks, it can run, jump, play, swim in the lakes and just lie in the grass. Next summer we are going to take our kitten to the countryside. It will see different animals there such as E , ducks and hens.
