Dear Alex,
How are you? I hope you are having a wonderful time!
My friends and I enjoy playing different sports and games. There are basketball, football, volleyball and other clubs in my school. If you remember, last summer I participated in a chess tournament, it was challenging. Now I want to tell you about my exciting weekend. Last Saturday I participated in a local football tournament in my hometown of Moscow. It was a great experience! I played with my friends from school, and we had a lot of fun together. The atmosphere at the tournament was amazing. Everyone was excited to see the games. I was a bit nervous before the first match, but as soon as the game started, I felt more confident.
We played three matches in total. We won the first match! I scored a goal, and it was fantastic. My teammates cheered for me, and I was very happy. In the second match we played against a stronger team. We tried our best, but we lost. It was disappointing, but we kept our spirits up. In the last match we played for the third place. We fought hard, and we won! It was a great way to end the tournament. Even though we didn’t win the first place, I felt proud of my team and our effort.
After the tournament, my friends and I decided to celebrate by visiting a nearby ice cream factory. It was like stepping into a sweet paradise! The factory was filled with the delicious smell of ice cream. We saw how ice cream is made, from mixing the ingredients to freezing the final product. The workers were friendly and showed us the machines. We even tasted some delicious vanilla, lemon, chocolate and other flavours! My favourite one was strawberry with nuts. It was so yummy! I bought some vanilla ice cream to share with my family, and they loved it too.
This weekend was unforgettable, from the thrill of the game to the sweetness of the ice cream.
